I want to make a list of all the afl games ever! There can't be that many. But firstly, I've browsed this board and found stuff like "footy fanatic" and "total aussie rules". I've never bloody heard of them, are they any good? where can I get them? On with the list...

TAR has a demo version where u can play a full season bt no finals

40 bucks otherwise

foot fanatic is freeware

both are very good management games

and dun forget me own afl game final whistle football (in making)

AFL Finals Fever released in 1996 (PC).

Gets a tough wrap, but it's more like just a "half way there" game that doesn't feature Free Kicks, Ruck, Set shots, Interchange (and more).

With about as much work on it again as it originally got, it could be a solid attempt.

It's also very,very easy.

So yeah, theres one for you.

I remember AFL Finals Fever on the PC, mainly because how poor it was.

You would think in a game called AFL Finals Fever you would get to play the finals - no! After playing a 22 round season the game would just end.

Ah, Finals Fever. I recall a game where I scored somewhere between 400 and 900 goals (I think), Ablett kicking 200 and Bairstow slotting a lazy 90 odd!

Also, Clinton King while still at Sydney was the fastest player with a speed rating of 94: could he run! Simply hand him the ball at half back and watch him kick goal after goal. Memories...

Yeh Final's Fever i still have that, only runs on Win' 95 though im pretty sure.... Very easy to cheat on the game

Also there was a game released about 18 months ago called 'Aussie Rules Coach' which featured commentary by none other than Drew Morphett.

Try a google search, though its a pretty average game as they've made up teams and player names.

AFL FINALS FEVER needs to be added to that list. It was made in 1996.

The TAR 2003 site seems to have been replaced with this 2004 site. So that demo might not be available for dowmload any more.

footy fanatic vs TAR

whoever has played both games can you please tell which one is better as I have played and love footy fanatic but visually TAR looks awesome but I have never played it yet as I am waiting for the 2004 release.
