All Terrain Boarding

Just thought I'd share with everyone my favourite past time and a growing sport in Australia, mountainboarding!

Often called dirtboarding, or All Terrain Boarding the sport is a mix between BMX, snowboarding and Skateboarding. It is really popular in the US, Uk and Japan and is starting to take off over here to.

i have ridden one before, me and a few mates went down to a farm and got a ute to pull us around the padocks, awsome fun

was leaving my office late last nite, and i saw two guys on some weird looking boards.. they were testing them out in martin place (sydney cbd area)...

i stopped and asked them what the frick they were.... 'freebord'
looked like a long skateboard but with some additional trolley like wheels.. supposed to be like a snowboard, but for the streets... ride it the same way as a snowboard, and it acts like it...

was tempted to have a go (cos i've tried snowboarding once and loved it)... but would have looked like a d*ckhead in my work clothes, and probably crashing into a phone booth or something... %#@
