If we got pick #6 for Solomon we'd have gotten a very good deal.

And Bowden will ask for too much. He's already overpaid by Richmond.

i don't think pick #6 for solomon is good enough, since the draft has been labelled as weak by many

solomon has been playing for 5-6 years now, and is just coming into the prime of his career. if we trade him for a draft pick, we lose an important senior player, and gain someone who will be unable to contribute for at least a year.

I don't think the draft is weak, merely that there aren't any standout players who will immediately step into a side and have an impact. I don't think anybody genuinely doubts the talent that is on offer, just the maturity.

I agree Bacon-Buster, Solomon is too valuable to just give in and trade. But the reality is, if we can't come to an agreement regarding a new contract, we should look to secure a good trade. If he wants to leave us for money, then we can also play the "strictly business" card.

They have been saying the draft is weak for the past 3 years each weaker than the last and it will probably happen again next year... Its stupid i dont even listen to that anymore..

Anyways i am going to be *Gasp* realistic...

Solomon for pick 6....

NO WAY IN HELL will they give us Coughlan, Ottens, Tivendale or Johnson so i dont know why i even bothered typing there names..

We cant get Bowden or Holland cause we cant really afford to pay them.. Maybe Bowden but not Holland.
