What's the difference between a Digital Amplifier and a Analog Amplifier
What's the difference between a Digital Amplifier and a Analog Amplifier in simple terms, not technical.
I have a Class A Circuit old Amp, What's the best Class to get? I go for what will sound best for my type of music, not if this class saves power but sucks for my music.
I like Hard RocK/Heavy Metal and like the sound quality from those 70s band Black Sabbath originally recorded on Analog.
I always thought Digital more better for like Dance/Techno Music and For TV/Movies.
I'm thinking about getting a new Amp between $1,000 to $2000 to go with my new Speakers but want a good one that's sounds good for my style of music.
I like to be able to hear each instrument clear, the bass,The Guitar Solo,The Drums and most important the hitting of Cymbals giving that great sound from your tweeter speakers and not sounding distorted or can't hear the Drum Cymbal.
I'm not sure but someone says a Digital Amplifier converts the Analog sound and reproduces the sound making it disorted.
I was looking at this Digital Amp that cost nearly $2000, they have at JB Hi Fi but read this comment on a model before this one not being really a digital amp. This has analog inputs looking at the manual.
Many manufacturers sell amplifiers that they advertise as "digital" yet they only have analog inputs. These manufacturers are, basically, if you want to get right down to it, misleading consumers. Unless a "digital" amplifier has digital input(s), it's not truly digital and is simply a Class "D" amplifier. This is not to say that these products are not decent amplifiers, but unless the input signal is digital and remains digital throughout the processing and amplification stage, the amplifier is not truly a digital amplifier.
