With the footy season delayed by Cyclone Zackah and the return of a certain poster after a mammoth melt, it seems like an appropriate time to announce the inaugural WINNER of the David King Medal for 2024.
The Esteemed Award
I understand there has been a lot of bed-wetting about this award - a few posters (namely those in the running) decrying the award as "stupid", yet also complaining that the award process has been extended.
Delays
There were delays in the presentation of this award. I had planned to have a "David King Medal" made up, but didn't because:

The third reason we didn't make a David King Medal is because postage to Mars is too expensive and we had to wait for our intrepid hero to return from his Off-Season Mega Meltdown to present the award and hear an acceptance speech.
