They wouldnt make a show of arresting him on his birthday if they wanted to sweep it under the carpet. it wouldve been a behind the doors chat. seeing as he is all out of power, friends, and money, think they may push him to roll on others / give up more info.

Which is also why there are calls to “follow the money”.

I think it’s unlikely anyone will be criminally charged for any sexual crimes. Even in their huge numbers, it’s too easy to paint the women as unreliable witnesses.

But this isn’t just about the sex - though I don’t want to downplay the impact that has has on so many women’s lives. It’s also about the money and power and sense of invincibility those bring. If Andrew and Mandelson are found to have shared information they shouldn’t have, it provides further evidence of the privileged not thinking rules apply to them.

Mind you, with the amount of insider trading that happens in the US political system, which is now on steroids under the current administration, there’s plenty of evidence already. Maybe people will just wake up to exactly how badly the system is rigged.
