Crave said:Never a doubt he would return. Plenty on maturity too in the way he approached JJ after his missed shot. Hope it silences his doubters too that his attitude needs readjusting![]()

Longy413 said:What position was that?
Longy413 said:I started the thread...
I didn't see Andrew Lovett play in the one position though.
stander said:At least he wasn't played in the wrong position like last week as we know.
Longy413 said:Do you think that today's performance might have been a reflection on what he learnt last week?
stander said:No, he didn't learn anything last week.
Longy413 said:He certainly seemed more motivated, defensively minded and willing to work hard this week than he was last week.

Longy413 said:Would it be impossible to believe that perhaps he learnt by playing back last week that he actually has to be responsible for an opponent at times. That he can't always be offensively minded.
That he has to work hard both ways and that he can't think purely about his own game.
He's played every game, bar one forward of the middle this year. Yet he comes back the week after spending time down back motivated, showed leadership and worked incredibly hard.
The last time Lovett spent time in the backline from memory was against Gary Ablett. That was round four last year, guess what happened the following week.
Food for thought....
So basically he has the memory of a goldfish...Longy413 said:Would it be impossible to believe that perhaps he learnt by playing back last week that he actually has to be responsible for an opponent at times. That he can't always be offensively minded.
