just wondering what you guys do to suppress your anger so that you don't lash out in situations where it's unwarranted.

i generally don't shoot from the mouth much nowerdays, but there are times that i wish i could bite my lip on trivial matters, but the bate was just so sweet.

what do you do/think-about to ignore the bate?

I work as a trainee counsellor for an organisation helping men with A.M. issues. As it happens, just being there helps ME, too.

Being able to talk to someone outside the immediate family is important, in my view, to get things off your chest, and look at ways of how to deal with things differently.

Speaking about male-female relationships, personally, I've found much to be gained by reading certain material (the best I have read is "Passionate Marriage" by David Scharsh) which has shown me that conflict within a relationship is not necessarily a bad thing.

Much easier for me to acknowledge I'm feeling tense or upset, and say so, without seeking approval or requiring soothing from the other party. A difference of opinion does not necessarily mean a viewpoint is not valid or worthy.
