i would never pick a fight in a busy restaurant, with a new chick i'm having dinner with, just to soothe my own ego and get back at this clown. guaranteed your new chick will think your a ****wit if you embarrass HER over something she has no idea about.
this situation happened to me a few years ago now, except the ex in question actually thought she was my girlfriend instead of just a casual. she began to play hard to get and i basically thought **** it, not worth it anyway and moved on.
i scored another chick one night and ended up walking home with her from this club when i was pulled up by 2 blokes, 1 being her new bf and another his mate. said that they were there to fix me up for cheating on her, this was in front of the new chick. these guys weren't that big, i could have taken them on 1 at a time but not 2 at a time. for a persdon with a short fuse in situations like this i remained very calm. told my new chick to go back inside and grab a drink while i sort this out, she didn't want to leave but i mentioned that i wouldn't be long.
well, i had to think fast because i was going to cop a hiding so i said to these guys that i am now trying to get on with my life after SHE dumped me. they said that was not what she said so i told them the truth, the whole hard to get stuff and i assumed that she was no longer interested.
the new bf said to me "is she actually worth it?" and i said that she's a nice girl but very high maintenance. they bought it and 1 of them actually shook my hand and apologised and bought me a drink at the same place 2 weeks later, sorry for the whole issue. the new bf ****ed her once then dumped her, i ended up getting some action from the new chick that night before she dumped me (karma i suppose).
