Do you think Angus Monfries has turned the corner after a very good game on saturday night hopefully he will finish the season playing the way he should be. Perhaps in a few years getting dropped back to the 2s for a couple of weeks might have been the best thing for his career. It was good to see him get his hands on the ball and hopefully it continues.

One of his best games for the club stats wise. Used the ball well... Would like to see him do that for the next few games at least before we say he has turned the corner.

gus will need to do a lot more if he wants to prove that he can cut it as an elite footballer

Has got an annoying habit of getting all his possessions on the boundary line but I was glad that he got a bit more of the ball through the corridor the other night.

Yep, I also saw him lead away from Lucas/Lloyd's space a number of times. That was one of my pet peeves about the way he was playing his footy.

He got himself into great crumbing positions, where he was previously was going for the mark.

Much better game by Gus, the spell at Bendigo seemed to have worked.

angus really needs to be put in the middle and let bre developed into an onballer.

I'd like to see him in the midfield more too. His ball winning ability on the ground could fill a bit of a hole left by Hirdy next year.

Needs one more pre season before becoming that midfielder. He has worked on his pace last pre season with good results according to him and i think more of that work would help a lot. With confidence in the middle he could be very good there and will win us a lot of free kicks straight out the middle.
