my brother went out boozing last night as you do on a Saturday night.
He is on a plan with Telstra (probably his biggest mistake in this whole post)
As can happen, he loses his mobile phone....
Now he wakes up today to try and cancel his sim card so no one can use it and what do we discover. The phone centre for lost moblie phones is not open on Sundays. Only Mondays-Friday 7am-8pm, Saturdays 9am-5pm.
Why can you not report a lost mobile phone on Sundays?? I'm sure it's nothing to do with the fact that Saturday night's are the most common time for people to lose mobile phones.
Ok yeah he's a dumbass for losing his phone, but probably 90% of the population has to put their hand up as having lost a mobile phone. But what a joke Telstra is that you can't report it lost.
The only thing we've been able to do is send an e mail through Telstra's web-site which says they'll send us a tracking number and get back to us within 48 hours....
At least the phone is turned off so i doubt it's being used.
another black mark against telstra.`
