Any Excuses?

I'm at risk of coming across as bashing my own team, but tonight's effort was abysmal. What was going on there? Does anybody know? I thought Hay's work was good, and I guess if we had have been a little more accurate, it might have been a tighter contest, but for mine we were outplayed for the entire first half, and the second half was a low quality affair by both sides.

Hardly inspiring. The word seemed to be that we were primed for the Ansett Cup. Any plusses? Any excuses?

I would have to agree with you, we were shocking. I journeyed down to the Social Club at Glenferrie and we left at 3/4 time so i didnt see our so called better performance. From what i saw though, we played terrible. Our ball skills were bad, our kicking was shocking - at goal and to our players, and our marking wasnt that good either.

It was a little disappointing to see Fremantle, mainly Modra, getting the easy holding the man free kicks.

Oh well, theres one good thing to come out of it, we probably couldnt play any worse next week!
