Im sort of looking at going back into high school teaching next year (sport and science) after a long lay off working in another profession. If I go back I think I want to look at doing some coaching to supplement my income cos hopefully I will have way more time on my hands with teacher holidays and 3pm finishes.
Would be keen in coaching tennis. I read a lot about the mental side of the game and game based coaching, and think I have some good ideas on what type of coach I want to be. Drills are easy enough to work out.
Thing is I'm not a very good player myself. So not sure how big an impact that would have on things.
Anyone have any suggestions of where I should start? Courses perhaps?
