Nope. What happens if it's Freo v Brisbane? 4,500 odd people would make for a great atmosphere.

I know this won't make it an all Vic afair necessarily, but why do Collingwood and Essendon get a monopoly on this game?

Because until 1994 Anzac day games were pretty much only played when it fell on a weekend because of the hassle of the short week. Other clubs weren't interested in that (the short week) until it they saw the sort of crowds that were turning up. The thing is that the crowd isn't largly because it's Anzac day, it's largly because of who is playing.

Just wondering what you thought.
