There are a few very good flight sims on the radar. Microsoft Flight, DCS A-10 (along with Black Shark which is already out), X-Plane 10 and IL2: Cliffs of Dover will all be out this year...

Thanks FGMPR, how do you rate them (in entertainment value) compared to Apache?

Well, most of them aren't out, so I can't exactly say. The DCS games have reviewed very well, and are about as hardcore as flight sims go. MS Flight is the new MS Flight Simulator (of which I played a decent amount of), so I'm sure that will be good. X-Plane 10 is also like FS, in that it's not combat based, its just about setting out points and flying.

Like most, I'm pretty sure all will be very customizable, so you can make it as simple or complex as you like it.

I downloaded a demo of this game on psn and once you get he hang of it i think it is quite enjoyable.

Its not quite as intricate as a real flight simulator and not as easy as some other flying games(cant think of any names of them at the moment) which is probably a good balance for a game like this.
