Wondering if anyone here can help me out with some ArchiCAD problems.
Being an AutoCAD user, i am impressed by AC's (archiCAD) 3D representation. However i am getting very frustrated at its 2D views, particularly elevations. For example if you have two different walls next to eachother and lined up properly, in elevation you still have a dividing line between the two different walls. The only way i have found to resolve this is to turn off the outline pen and trace with a line/polyline where i want to see the wall.
Also i have added some external libraries and obviously not done this correctly. To open a file takes literally 5-10 mins and sometimes the program will freeze. My computer is not the problem here as i have 2gb ram and no other programs running, also it ran fine before i got external libraries.
When trying to create a .pla file it says some library parts/ macros are missing. To try to resolve this i opened up the library manager and made sure all libraries are located in the local library but still no luck. One time it did save a .pla correctly but is not working again.
I am fairly new to the program, i would say i know all the basics just having trouble with some of the more advanced things. If anybody could help resolve these problems or has any other helpful advice in general it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
