Would be mad not to IMO. Has done what he needs to do here and if he wants to coach in Europe then its a good move.

A move to the J-League is a move forward so for him I think it's an excellent decision.

Need more young Aussie coaches to head to the technically better J-league and K-league and bring some of that back here.

Good on him, should be a great experience.

A loss for the A League but definitely a good advert and step for the game here that we have coaches good enough to work overseas. Would be great to see a few more follow him to Asia/Europe and see if they can help raise the profile of our coaches. Even better if they come back here having picked up bits and pieces to improve the game here too.

The A League has lost its 2 best coaches in the space of a couple of weeks.

Who would have said that 4 years or so ago when both had failed dismally as national coaches. Fully agree though.
