Not sure anyone cares but Amell has been cast as Casey Jones in the TMNT sequel.

Good thing he doesnt mind being typecast.

Is that a big role? Not overly familiar with the TMNT.

Wonder if that might respark the debate on whether or not he should be in the DCCU.

I think statistically it's better to be typecast if you are realistic about how much talent you have because an actors career can derail and there are so many that probably found some fame and then moved on and got no where after that and yearn for their old role that gave them so much, Mark Hamill comes to mind although he has found a pretty good career as the Joker's voice in Batman cartoons.

I agree work is work and its more exposure being in studio backed film. Plus he did actually say in a interview once he doesnt mind being typecast, I wasnt being sarcastic.

Considering who plays April I wouldn't mind being typecast either

not the ending i expected, i always prefer the versions of Green Arrow when Ollie tells the world himself, and is not caught/exposed. Will be interesting to see where they go with Roy now, and if they go back to when the Arrow saved Roy on live TV in season 1 to let him free. I wonder what Ra's will now do to get his way, i expected Ollie to take the offer after he was exposed as the Arrow.

I forgot about Roy getting saved live on tv. The writers probably have too. Rumours are Colton Haynes is leaving the show I think he wont be back as a regular.

I like the storyline, here's my personal opinion on how it plays out with the help of the flash promo.

Oliver will become Ras, RF will kill someone close to Barry and Barry will cause flashpoint to happen by going back in time and everyone will forget who is who.

Good ep that one, seems to finally help give the show some direction for the final phase of the season - the first time in a long time (besides the Ollie v Ra's mountain fight) that Ollie and Team Arrow have really looked like they are in above their heads with things looking grim. Some pretty big reveals with Lance and the city finding out the Arrow's identity.

I reckon they could have ended that ep without the Roy twist but I'm pretty interested to see where they go from here.

Was great to see Shado/May - if only she was a regular. Maybe someone should tell Slade about her...

From memory the first season got stronger as it went along but at the same time if your not enjoying it by episode 4 or 5, despite the cheese, then its probably a series you can afford to skip.

Starts bad, get's better, at one point it got really good during season 2 and now the quality has been declining a little bit. The back half of the seasons is where it starts to pick up so I'm hoping it does from here on out.

Yeah the difference is noticeable. The first 10 minutes of the pilot it felt like every line was "I'm your best friend" "you're my sister" "you remember the maid" "this is the detective" "you're still my mother". Absolutely no subtlety. I can imagine a network exec screaming "THEY NEED TO KNOW WHO THESE CHARACTERS ARE"

That was easily one of the best episodes of the season. Here's just some of my reactions in order: Oh shit, aww damn, oh ****!

Oliver with the best line of the ep "I think there is a strong chance you and Ray are related"

Nice send off for Roy he kicked some ass and had some good scenes with with Captain Lance etc.

Not worried about Thea a band aid and some herbal tea will do the trick.

Sucks that Roy's going though. Anyone know if there'll be some sort of replacement?
