They will need to because Palmer isnt that popular and the other person they might have while popular on arrow prob isnt going to get enough people watching. Now if they did a suicide squad show with Deathstroke inc, it would have rated well I think. But DC had other plans.

They are saying that one of the characters will float between the three shows. Got to be Felicity with all the sexual tension she creates between all three heroes.

I am guessing that is what the spin off will be focussed on finding out. I would also guess some of those meta's will be heroes in the show.

So many possibilities they can go with and because they're a tv series they can actually do more than the MCU and be like a true comic book on the screen.

I've watched plenty of comic book series over the years and most are individual episodes with some referencing each other but this is a completely different beast. In the comics both Green Arrow and The Flash spent a lot of time teaming up with Green Lantern but they are actually going down a better path with Atom etc.

Thea will prob just take his place. I like Routh too bit his character has gotten annoying at times and not really caught on with the masses as far as I can tell.

I think the chances of seeing Deathstroke and Deadshot again are pretty slim given both (at least Deadshot) are seemingly set to appear in the Suicide Squad movie.

So the new spin off show would have Palmer, Harper and I think I read Sara's Black Canary (not sure how that works) plus probably a few others to be revealed.

Great ep last night though - would be close to the best this season (top 3). Really captured that shock/dread feeling they had in the second part of S2 that made the show awesome.

I suspect Ra's will tell Ollie he can revive Thea in the pit...if he agrees to succeed him (given Ra's said Ollie would "beg" him).

I'm curious to see how the flashbacks will tie in with the current day stuff.

The CW is developing a DC Comics superhero spinoff featuring characters and actors from both “The Flash” and “Arrow,” Deadline reports.

The untitled project is being eyed for the next season, and comes from “Arrow” creators Greg Berlanti, Andrew Kreisberg and Marc Guggenheim.

The spinoff would star “Arrow’s” Brandon Routh, who plays Ray Palmer/the Atom, plus Caity Lotz, along with “The Flash’s” Victor Garber as Dr. Martin Stein, and Wentworth Miller as villain Leonard Snart/Captain Cold. Lotz’s character is unclear, given that her character Sara Lance was killed off on “Arrow,” with Katie Cassidy taking over the Black Canary. Other “Flash” and “Arrow” characters could potentially crossover into the series as well.

The show will also feature three major DC Comics characters who have never been in a television series before.

Ray Palmer really sucked in both shows this week, he's a huge let down and throwing him into the centre of the action proved it

too many characters on this show are just wearing outfits for the sake of it without any training or common sense

Roy to Thea always seemed like the long term play and now that she's all trained up, and about to get a dose of pixie dust I'm guessing Oliver won't be without a sidekick for long. Although I kind of hope there is a longer break.


I actually don't mind Ray Palmer it's the atom that isn't working for me.
