Been thinking the same - I'm glad they didn't successfully smuggle Ollie out of the League's base.

I'm guessing he won't eventually rise and replace Ra's as the head of the League - that being said, I hope there is a good twist on how he escapes the deal he made with them. (Not sure I'd believe Ollie beating Ra's to 'win' his freedom as a believable outcome).

Not a bad ep last night overall - I wonder if the final climactic battle for S3 is Ollie trying to escape the league? (S1 had Merlyn and S2 had Slade - not really sure who is shaping up as the 'big bad guy' for S3 if not Ra's).
 
I liked it, i thought it was a good ep, been getting better and better over the past few weeks.

Like has been mentioned above it will be interesting where they go from here

Well there's only 3 episodes left in season 3 so I'd say getting away from the league is the final act plus the last episode is titled "I am Oliver Queen".

I hope they take Starling City away from it completely for a while and follow the Arrows progress through the league, but they wont. They will have him going back to his drama filled load of garbage life instead of becoming an extremely awesome ninja with mad skills, i know which one i would rather watch

Pretty sure they need to meet their CW 50% on air romance screentime quota. Can't have super hero shows be void of any nuances of the heart.

I for one can't wait to see who the new flame in Thea's life will be.
 
The only good thing about that episode was that Nyssa and Maseo didnt die.

Could they not think of any other plot line. Um you gotta destroy your old home because its tradition ok, also you gotta marry my lesbian daughter.
Just cheap attempts at drama for no reason. Also the forced tie in to the flashback with the alpha omega virus was lol.

At least season 4 already looks more promising, they have set up HIVE as a enemy previously with a logical reason for team arrow to pursue them.
Looks like DC have now put the screws down on any significant characters showing up on this show, besides oliver queen himself.

Damien Dhark seems to be a relatively new character without much history. I suppose in a way that can be a good thing too as it can give the writers more freedom.

If DC keep stopping them from using characters or plots then they should just come up with a new one like Ollie leading the League. Basically leave the DC Universe behind if it hampers with their ability to put out a consistently good show.

Agree with that 100% the scenes with Starling City and the complete BS that comes with it almost made me skip through it. The show is should focus on oliver and the league not Starling City, its becoming repetitive crap

They gave them Ras though and they still managed to **** up the season. Ras wasnt the problem though, he has generally been good.

They need to get the writers from the flash back or get better ones. The writing on this show is heading into dexter season 5 -8 territory.

Not that this show was good as dexter's early season.

Inb4 everyone dies and Ollie becomes a lumberjack

No where near as good as The Flash anymore.

Laurel's character does my head in as the Canary. She just doesn't seem to fit, her fighting scenes suck and she's no Sarah. No cleavage in the outfit too. :(

Sarah had the look and actually looked like an over the top comic book heroine. Laurel looks like she's lost and trying to find the Bondage & Domination expo.

I'm still enjoying it but Laurel is just awful

An awful character written poorly and played by a terrible actor
