Chocco has great credentials, but is a bit of a loose canon who has no love for Carlton. He is older than me(just) at 66yo. While I would not suggest he has no place in the game, it is hard to believe we cannot find a suitable skills mentor in a “prime” age bracket. Few veteran coaches operate at or even near the top level these days with the often changing game. Think if Williams wants to continue working he could find a suitable “sunset” role somewhere in the game.

There is a place in our program for skills mentoring. It is hard to believe that it would constitute a full time role.
