Not as much change as I would have hoped in terms of personnel. Dissapointed we didn't replace the Greaves role. But at least the defence and forward like get new coaches. Midfield a new voice as well.
how does everyone feel
bit meh, but I'm in the group that you can never really tell who and who isnt a good assistant, so I will put my trust in the club and those making the decisions

Good luck to Leigh & Damian - I wish them well but boy...I was expecting a couple more higher profile candidates than this given the language coming from the club post season.
Is this the Voss effect...we can't attract any of the highly regarded assistants out there??

Ash Hansen to defence, Russell to development is interesting
It all looks like there's still another vacancy to fill in a senior assistant/ strategy role.
It does but the club have said that this is the coaching structure for next season which tells me it's finalised.
Where’s the tactical help ?

I may end up eating my words, but I've never felt less inspired by the club.
Obviously fantastic that we've got Wright and Davies in place but it feels like we're treading water for another 12 months after already doing so for half this season.

Confirmed 2026 is a holding pattern. Adjust expectations accordingly.
Voss is being given every opportunity to impose his will on the coaching group and the players
I dont consider next year to be a holding pattern at all - Voss certainly wont be as he knows he wont survive

might be the worst coaching group in the comp 
GW was unsuccessful in attracting any of his preferred targets. Didn’t want to bring in anyone just for the sake of replacing Voss and with him having 1 year left to go on the contract, has convinced the board to let him see that though. No major changes in the assistant coaches so that the new coach in 2026 can come in and pick his own team mostly from scratch.
Thought the same re: Hansen..
Clarke stepping up..but with Patch assisting in the midfield.
Greaves not replaced (yet)..
Boak in a different type of role if he does jump into the AFL fray.

Our coaching panel is uninspiring , a little scary, we seem to have lost quality assistant coaches and replaced them with unheralded types, were definitely on a holding pattern till end 2026. Our President , CEO and Football manger need to be connected and well grounded, not impressed , our pain and misery may continue into 2026.
Lets keep our fingers crossed that Austin is primed and monitored by GW & CD, this trade period is critical.
