Auditing.

I'm doing this subject at school and I have to compile an audit questionnaire on the Western Bulldogs for their finance manager to do.

The following areas I have come up with for questioning is:

Accurals and Pre-payments
Bank statements – What is theirs and what is from the AFL.
Assets
Revenue/Income
Expenses
Renting/Leasing

Are their any other areas I should look to cover?

only saw this thread, hope it went well...

i've only done a little auditing over summers, so i'm no expert, but the key to audit essentially is risk, so you would've had to try and identify what the key risks were for the bulldogs...

for example, you've listed assets there, now they are important, but don't involve much risk other than the fact that you can confirm they exist... however revenue/expenses accruals would be areas you should try and focus on...

again i don't know a whole lot about auditing, i've worked as a bottom feeder doing it for a bit, even worked at an AFL club for a while... that's the approach i would've taken to it...
