It’s a concern when the words plane and hijack are used together. Especially here. One person charged and before the courts. Details sketchy.
I’m unsure how realistic this attempt would have been carried out by the accused. Not very successful ultimately one would imagine.

Australian air travel is incredibly safe but there is never reason for complacency.
