The downside (no pun intended) with Australian hip-hop is that a lot of the MC's from the genre can't sing for peanuts. Some have great lyrics, and they use nice beats, but their voices are repulsive. I don't think the Australian accent is suited to hip-hop style rhyming/singing.

The same goes for some British hip-hop artists.
