Eli was good and will probably go through. But I really liked Veronica for some reason, even though the judges basically told her she sucked! It'd be funny if Peter won, the pig guy!

Chelsea was awful! That high pitched bit at the end.......no!!

Wasn't watching, but could kind of hear the acts from my room where I was reading while my daughter watched it.

Actually came out to watch during the Never Walk Alone bit - surprisingly the guy could really sing.

Needless to say the talentless drones on the judging panel caned him for not singing bubblegum pop cr@p.

Saw ten minutes last nigth and its so obvious the guy with the long hair is there to abuse people as much as possible.

Reality TV is disgraceful.

As for wanting to be a pop star...how friggen sad. The way some of them carry on its like a matter of life and death.

Guy Sebastian won the Pilot Pens Star*Search Competition about half a year ago.

He might abbuse people, but he isn't there for the sole reason being the token abbusive guy. Dicko is General Manager of Marketing for major record label BMG Australia. So he belongs there more than the other two seen as though its BMG who is hooking up the winner.

Looking past the fact he's pretty - yes he does have a great voice, but it's completely unsuited for pop/r&b/rock/any musical style required to become an 'Australian Idol'.

Dicko and Mark Holden were taking the pi$s out of him tonight saying that it was the 'G-Factor' (Grannies, Girlies, Gays) that got him over the line and they're 100% correct.

BB3 was proof that mainstream Australia is stupid (rewarding a simpleton who didn't know what the A.C.T. was with 200 large) and it looks like Australian Idol will follow the same path, largely ignoring talent and rewarding nothing more than looks or the underdog.

Excellent - the last thing the world needs is another production line bubblegum pop singer.

The reason people still know & sing 40 year old songs is that they are good songs that need a real singer to pull em off - not like all the moderin rubbish being pushed at teeny boppers
