Of that list, INXS just shading the Hoodoo Gurus.

A few decent ones left off aside from AC/DC.

Midnight Oil, Cold Chisel, Hunters & Collectors, The Angels, Skyhooks, Divinyls, Aussie Crawl, Mental as Anything, Sherbert, Easybeats, Masters Apprentices, You Am I, Daddy Cool etc

I reckon you'd need a dozen names on the list to cover most tastes and decades to a more accurate result.

The Tatts man where are the Tatts!!!

Gotta love Angry and the boys in their prime.

You and anyone else mate. Matty "Deep Heat" Skitz. Hands down the fastest feet in the world. Absolute mental case of a bloke too.

Yes, yes and yes.
Mat and Jamie from Damaged have a new band, called 'Terrorust' happening. Intresting to see what they come up with.....

INXS when Michael Hutchence was around = :thumbsu:
INXS with that hack JD Fortune =:thumbsd: :thumbsd: :thumbsd: :thumbsd: :thumbsd:

Sorry, must disagree in part. INXS with Michael were incredible, with JD Fortune they are still very, very good. JD has created his own persona, made the songs his own and was always on a hiding to nothing.

Not sure what the Rockhampton concert was like, but I can assure you, their Sept 1st gig at Brisbane's River Stage was as good as any of the 19 times I saw them with Michael Hutchence.

The band is just as tight, JD brings a slightly harder edge to their music and like him or hate him, he is doing a great job, and this comes from a 25 year fan of the band, someone who didnt want the reality tv thing to happen, but changed my mind after two weeks.

No one is right and no one is wrong, they are simply opinions and mine disagrees with yours, it is just as simple as that.

I'm glad someone agrees with me! I think Jason is doing a great job as the lead singer, I'm sick of people bagging him all the time and not ever paying attention to a thing INXS does. If people actually attended one of their concerts they would see, people really need to open their eyes and get over it. Sure he is no Michael, but he is still fantastic

Out of that lot a tie between INXS and the Gurus. However my top 5 Aussies bands would be:

1. AC/DC
2. Divinyls
3. Eurogliders
4. Midnight Oil
5. Mi-sex
