There are 'basic gameday rules' in all sports. Things one should try and do in a game. I RL some might be; Don't take a dummy, take the man with the ball, never let the ball bounce, don't turn your back on play,,,etc.

Id like to get all your ideas on what the game day rules are for Aussie Rules? I'll add some I think may be applicable to get the thread started, please add as you see fit. (Ive added some below that another poster wrote in a different thread)

*Don't kick into the middle in your own half
*Kick to the edges from kick outs
*Man up in defence
*Never kick or pass to a static player
*Kick for goal when inside 50
*Play on immediately from a free kick
*Always have a crumber front and centre of a contest.
