That was the most blatant penalty to Aloisi in the 92nd minute. We deserved to win

LOL any half decent striker would have put that away

At last...... some common sense. Aloisi had half an hour to put that thing away.
Muscat is a disgrace to Aussie soccer. They should ban his arse.

Muscats foul was bad but not worthy of a ban. It was bad luck that he did knee but these things happen

That's just wrong. Muscat has a long history of flagrant fouls on opposition stars. He tackled him with his leg high and tanglled himself up in his legs and brought him down. There was definite intent.........there always has with that bastard.
He gives Aussie soccer a bad name and helps to perpetuate our 'amateurish' status.

Had to be a bloody penalty...
I'd agree there.Originally posted by The Starchild
Muscat probably shouldn't even be in the team going on last night's form. He turned the ball over 3-4 times to the opposition when under very little pressure, we can't afford that next week no way.
His tackle was amature, his passing poor, I think he'll be lucky to stay in the side.

I'm not sure we'll have the same problems with Uruguay if that's who we play, they're best midfielder (Recoba) has been banned and I'm not sure if he'll be allowed to play for these games. Does anyone know if the Recoba ban is still in effect for these games?

Great, just great. Recoba is a gun. Oh well we'll just have to do our best and hope Muscat or whoever comes on for him can limit his influence.Originally posted by Chris_23
Recoba's club ban was lifted late last week. He would've been able to play for his country regardless of the club ban. He'll most likely play on the left side of midfield. He has made champions look silly, i can only imagine what he'll do to Kevin Muscat.![]()

Sorry Hitter ... but i agree with QT and Santos. Aloisi had an eternity to put that ball in the back of the net and fluffed it. Any decent stricker would have put it away

The fact is that Slyvester knew that Alosi would either score or there would be a penality, when he blantley pushed him off the ball in the box. Yet the referee was too gutless to take the whistle out of his arse.
