I've got a game waiting for me at the local post office, and if I don't pick it up soon, it will be returned to sender

This is my preferred option, but does anyone know if you should get a refund from the place of purchase or not?

Is this a purchase from a store like EB or is it from a private seller, like on ebay?

More of a guess, but there is no way they'll automatically issue a refund. If anything even after you manage a refund they'll likely keep the postage cost.

I think I'll still come out ahead versus having to sell on ebay/gumtree

It is Cyberpunk so maybe I can argue the bugs to get me a full refund

Is it at the post office with a card left in your mailbox, or parcel collect? Don't quote me on this but you may be able to redirect to a parcel collect if you register/go through a hassle, which would give you another 10 days to collect. If its not too late in the delivery maybe.

As for the refund, best to get in touch with the seller and sort it out rather than assume one way or another.
