Well Rogers has final worked out he wasn't/can't be a GT contender.

Again, has it taken him too long to realise this? From what i saw he was a super TTer (3 World Championships in a row) that, was unlucky with injury but pursuing a goal of a GT title that really wasn't in his reach. Did he somewhat waste a few years trying to become something he wasn't? Worried Porte may try the same thing, focus on climbing and forget what he was best at. The thing that is in Porte advanatge though is he's the right size for a GT, small and light, Rogers is 185cm and over 75kg. In this day and age, where the TT is being almost cut out of GT, he's got no shot. Think this has a lot to do with media pressure and being the first Aussie to win a GT.

I think this is a good thing for him. Evans should be doing the same thing.

The thing with Porte he's an exceptional time trialist, yet under 60kg. If he can drop to 57, which Riis believes is a goal, he will be able to climb better than he does now.

That's definitely a big difference between him and say a Rogers which probably does give a shot to convert (the right word?). Maybe if organiser of the GT went back to what the GT used to be like, not a pure climbers award and TT distances of over 100km+ (total), he may be able to achieve the elusive goal.

We'll just have to wait and see.

Durbridge is going to be something special.

He doesn't have the road smarts yet and needs another year on the road before he's snapped up by a feeder team or a proteam. But when he develops, he'll be exceptional.

Is it illegal to ship Clenbuteral here?

Unless Customs did a search for his name and found he was a registered athlete?

He should have got it sent to a family member.

Edit: Just read that it is not approved for human use in Australia which means it will get stopped at customs.

Goes to my previous post. If he was going to do an illegal substance when it comes to sport, he should have done HGH as you can get that in Australia.

Steele Van Hoff, just gone full time, rides for Genisys Wealth. Will be big news eventually.

Yeah, I know Steele Von Hoff. Give him two years and he'll be professional.

Shame he couldn't swim and had to tow plebs like me around the bike course!
