Does a player have to score above their overall average to increase in price in each week?

For example if player A is averaging 89 over first 3 rounds and gets 80 in round 4... is it possible for their price to still rise?

Yes. Price rises/falls are based on the players last 3 matches

Nope, not really. Whether they rise or fall depends on their average score over the past 3 rounds in comparison to their current value. A player that is worth $150k may only need to average say 40 points to hold their value - if they average any higher their value will increase, any lower and it will decrease.

So someone worth $120k averaging 40 will go up in value, whereas someone else worth $200k averaging 40 will go down in value.
