Awesome Day - Win plus 3 now devoted kids

Been waiting for that for years - Totally awesome. And then just to top it all off Browny gives my little girl his signed footy at the end - she's a Tiger forever now!

Went to the game in dread, narked at only being able to get seats right on the fence next to the goals where the view of the game would be ordinary - basically only happy for the chance to get to see the team live.

Then - we start dominating, the cheer squad goes off about 15 seats to our left and my 8yo boys start to join in on the chants, both of them are now hoarse.

Richo takes one of his trademark "hold em out fall over backwards" marks and thier eyes popped out of their heads and they go wild.

The siren goes and the song is sung with passion (dam it's a good song) and then the team start handing out balls, Richo goes to our right, Thursfield to our left and Foley a bit further over, dam think we've missed out. Then Browny trots down, handballs to Richo takes it back and from 20m out spots up my 9yo daughter (an eye for talent that man just a bit young though!!!!) comes on over gives her the ball and a hug, hi fives me and all three of us with huge grins. Titch Edwards comes past and hi fives as Browny leaves.

Yes I'm still on a high and haven't touch the grog in two days!!!

B.. Oath Jisha. The only down for the day was that I set the DVD recorder wrong - only got the first half.

Does anyone know if you can buy the game DVD from Fox? Me and the kids were up on the score board at the end from a fox camera and would love to get that footage!

BTW - you should see the front page of the West Australian footy section today - Huge Tiger with a blodied Dockers torso in its mouth - that's going in the collection too!

Yeah there is a company being advertised on SEN at the moment which will sell and deliver a copy of any game. Perhaps try and call SEN. Check their website.

Sportsdelivered is a nightmare from a couple of stories I've heard, one is someone who ordered and it took them 3 months to get their DVD and then it was average quality that had a half on each disc.

And it's $34.95.

I wouldnt recommend it.

Kids had on my old Gold Membership caps from 04,05 and 06 plus two of them had their "Tiger Skins" from thier first ever membership drapped over their shoulders. My girl had two small "floggers" she and I had made up last year as well. We were in full tiger mode!!!! (Me - I was the worst, cap, shirt, black pants, tigers socks, black shoes, I'll let you guess the color of my jocks and of course the Gold Membership Scarf).

- watige if you go over to the freo board there's prob someone who'd be willing to give you their now unwanted dvd tape of the game - be quick though before they all get thrown in the bin

I'll be doing my best to keep it fresh for a while so that it does stick!!

My mother, who was there with us yesterday, was telling me on the way home my first game was at the G v the Bombers in about '75 when I was 8yo. Trouble is I can't remember jack about it!!?? Unless that was the game that Jimmy Jess booted that enormous torp goal!?
