It's pretty tough. Pavlich is a SC superstar and will always get you great scores, but he is $54,000 more expensive than Johnson. On the other hand Johnson is also a star and will consistently score good, but he is getting a bit old now which may influence his scores. You can't go wrong with either, but if you have the money, get Pavlich. Just my opinion.

Cant believe people are getting sucked in to the idea that "he is getting old" the man is evergreen! especially when you consider the lack of support around him. Once again, just like last year and the year before he will get plenty of the pill...will be worth every penny

I have him in my team. I just find it hard to believe his scores won't be affected by age at all.

Pav will get bigger scores johno will be slightly more consistent.

Toss of a coin really. Maybe slightly leaning towards Pav because he has age on his side.

I've got both. Both are very durable players - Pav maybe moreso, given Johnno's getting on a bit and Pav should also score better overall. So if you had to choose b/w the two then I'd go Pav.

Pav, Johnson and Rooey. Screw the rest, these 3 will get you 300-400+ every week without a doubt. I can't remember Riewoldt having a shocker since the game against Port when it was absolutely pouring (no talls did well that day) and that was also because it was his first game back from a stuffed shoulder and he also got a boot to the head. Hardest working CHF in the comp a must have.
The dogs rely on Johnson so much, it's almost hard for him to have an off day since the ball's going there so often that he has to get it.
Freo rely on Pav even more, no other team relies on a single player more. He also gets very good delivery from a very talented midfield.
