Only two rounds in.

If we bounce back next week it will all be forgotten

Congrats to the Saints for the win. Credit where credit's due.

I'm certainly not - although I'm still livid with our effort as a team - reeked of 1994/1995/1996.

As I've said in other threads, certain St Kilda players had absolute blinders and we were complete rubbish, yet we only lost by 8 points on their home ground and could well've nicked it.

Agreed, It could be much worse:

1. We could have lost 2 in a row.
2. We could have Cornflakes as our coach.
3. We could be the subject of Salary Cap investigations.
4. We could be almost bankrupt.
5. We could have no members.
6. We could be Fremantle......oh geez that's a rough gig!;)

Optimism people, optimism; we are the Crows, and IMO we're still top 4 material. Onward and upward.

Cheers,

Kasey

I'l definitely second that. It's only Round 2. Its not do or die yet. Gotta stay positive. A loss against the Saints, who did play exceptionally well, on Sat doesn't mean we aren't in contention for a top 4 spot. Plenty of footy left to go

I agree. It's only round 2 and whilst we were all excited about only losing a couple of games, we've got to accept that these losses may happen. It was a terrible performance and a shocking way to honour Bicks but to put it bluntly, they can't play any better, we can't play any worse, we only lost by 8 points. That is one positive side of things. Gary says he's quietly confident this week that we'll bounce back, so that means I am quietly confident. Surely the senior players won't let it happen again.

We can and have played a lot worse than that,

vs the Kangas last year in Canberra for instance

The better team won and I thought we were at about 80%.

If we had some forwards we would have won the game for sure.

Forwards weren't flash, but delivery to them was terrible. Lollipop kicks didn't help, but maybe some crumbers round there would've helped. I think they really missed Bodey out there on Saturday.
