Every player on the Melbourne list completes the exams, which last for around an hour. The structure of the exams works around 20 minutes of video analysis and 40 minutes of written work, with the questions revolving around five key areas – namely game style, development, forward line, midfield and the back line.
”The main focus of the exams are for the players to learn the new game plan and to learn what Dean expects of them in game situations, but it’s also very line specific, so it focuses on what their line coaches expect of them as well”,
