2 days ago i was ********ed off with poker, today I'm $500 richer.

I also won a $10 limit game after being reduced at one stage to 75 chips from a starting 1500. :D
 
Impressive, so guys what in your opinion is the best site to play on...i joined partypoker few days ago, using playmoney for now til i see how things work, but eventually want to try tourneys etc when i have got the betting down a bit more...

Is there much difference in the sites, is there one better than than the other? or are they all pretty much the same?

well done mate. i have my pc back now and plan to tear up the poker sites! well, i'd be happy to win $5 for starters!
 
Online Poker is really annoying me these days.

For example, I have QJ and just call to see flop and then 87J comes I raise and someone with KQ calls :rolleyes: and get their K :thumbsd:

For the umpteenth time that ISNT online poker, thats FREEPLAY poker.

And yes it is "online" poker as I need to connect to the internet to play :rolleyes:
 
Finally after a horror week Ive had a decent day of poker. Won $20 earlier today on some low limit tables and decided to play tonight after watching the North London derby - I was too "up" to go to sleep. After about 10 minutes I get KK on the 0.25/0.50 tables.

Guy UTG raises to $1. I reraise to $3. All fold bar him who reraises me an extra $2. At this point I figured he might actually have AA or QQ. Something big anyhow, but for $2 I figure I can see the flop at the least. Flop come K-2-7 all different suits. He bets $9.50 into me and obviously Im delighted. I call hoping to extract more money off him. Turn is a 5 with another suit, so flush has no chance. He checks and I bet $5 which is quickly called. River comes down a Q, which makes me very happy as I figure he has hit his set. He checks and I bet $9, he raises and to $18 and I put myself all-in for an extra $7. He calls and shows AA and Im up $50.

The only problem is, I started playing to make me sleepy but this has got me wide awake.
