Wondering if anybody has had experience with using backloading to move interstate? Trying to find a reliable one but all I'm hearing is bad stories about them.

I backloaded once from NSW to Qld and had no issues. I then used the same carrier to return to NSW and lost everything I owned bar clothes and a mattress from a break in. It's probably not worth the money saved.

Problem then is all I've got is a queen bed, fridge and washing machine. All only 6 months old. A real hassle if I have to try and sell them and purchase new appliances again.

If that's all you're moving then it might be worthwhile. Boxes and easily handled electrical items like TV's and the like I imagine are quite enticing for dishonest truckers.
