Hi all,
Don't worry, this is not a troll. I just wanted to say that Carlton were dead unlucky yesterday. Although, I was obviously glad to get away with the win, I thought that your boys put up a great fight. Both sides had opportunities to put it beyond doubt before the last quarter but just failed to capitailse.
On a personal note, I wandered along to the game by myself. In the end, I happened to sit with a group of Port supporters on my left and a couple of Carlton supporters on my right. With all the crap spouted about feral supporters, I was pleased that both lots were quite friendly during the game. Credit is due to the Carlton supporters though who, after the final siren and whilst I was celebrating the win, tapped me on the shoulder to wish me well and congratulate me for backing the right horse on the day. Those guys have my respect and demonstrate what Aussie Rules is about.
Anyway, I will not encroach upon your space any more. Good luck against Collingwood and best of luck for 2006.
