Back luck today guys. I haven't seen the game yet, but listening on the radio it seems you guys gave us a hell of a worry in that last quarter. Fevola... What a gun. Kills us each time we play you. I just think you need to find another tall forward to help him out.

cheers mate we fought back well and hard in the final term shame we couldnt hold it though we had the momentum with us, 2 more would've sealed it but it just blew out and essendon were just the better team on the day, credit to them.

The same could be said for your very own Man-Mountain Hille.

I don't watch many Essendon games, but almost every time I do, he seems to dominate all over the ground and almost single handedly win games through his sheer power (and he's got pretty handy skills too). What baffles me is why he hasn't dragged you over the line in more games???

Perhaps the deal to palm off Kennedy wasn't so good after all.

What about O'hAilpin at CHF? He's not a backman and he's got plenty of athleticism, he could play that Spalding/Hammil role nicely... just a suggestion. I just think Carlton should either find him a position or move him on.

He's a bit of a tram our Carlos. Best in straight lines only. He's going okay down back. We need to try Edwards or Hartlett REAL soon at CHF.

For me he hasn't always been up to the actual ruckwork (I've always been a critic of his in this area!) particularly when it came to timing his jump for the ruck contest. It's obvious he has worked very hard in this area, he's fitter this year which has enabled him to move more freely around the ground and for a sustained period however in all honesty he's always had a fantastic mark and a great kick- self belief is also a major factor in his turnaround in form. It's also fantastic having two players in the side that can win clearances, Watson and Lonergan, we haven't had this luxury in years, Hille is very much assisting in this area as he is giving our young midfielders first opportunity!!!

Just going in the two's from all reports. Needs confidence, needs to be played. Right now Harts is in front of him but his hammies are dodgier than a Springvale pork bun.

They've tried him up forward and he looks a little lost, doesn't move like a forward. Has been playing down back quite well over the last month but against the Bombers was well beaten.

As for forward line, most teams have 3 or 4 decent options (Bombers had Lloyd, Montfries, Lucas & McPhee), we've only really got one or two - Fish is out of sorts and may need a run in the twos.

Without giving up Kennedy we wouldn't have got Judd. Sad to loss Kennedy though. CHF is a problem, just wondering whether Harlett should be included as a CHF, Waite on the HFF playing between HF and wing, with Austin tried down back once Walker returns (Walker will give the run that Waite usually gives down back). We need multipe forward options, not just one or two

Yes. Most consistent season by far. Had some great games last year (i.e. pulled Cox's pants down- again!) but also got dropped towards the end of last year.

I'm not into drugs and I can't speak any of the 300 Asian languages that are native to the area so I don't venture down there too often- at all.
