Lifted the following from a newspaper.

'Lawyer Justin Quill said Ball would be within his rights to take legal action against the club or the medical staff, but he would need to demonstrate some negligence.

"It's a possibility, but there are a lot of hurdles proving negligence," Quill said.

Sources close to Ball suggest he would be unlikely to pursue any claim, even if it were an option.'

Don't think there is much in it.

CH 7 saying there is Something Happening between Ball and Pies.

Guess about Ball going back on after being Injured

Mountain out of a molehill. As usual a lawyer has said luke ball could sue collingwood medical staff if he really wanted to.But he wont. Its collingwood. Its been a tough weekend and the media just want to make it as tough as they can by making up stupid stories like this..thats what it all comes down to. and a lawyer, who is a parasite trying to get his name out there.

Surely this is a great example of why the sub rule is absolutely horrible, and if they do change it to 2+2 in the future, they are just ruining the game.

I'd rather it be 4 + 2... But that's never going to happen.

Pretty pathetic for the media to beat up another story yet again.

Feel for the bloke, Ball would have said he was right to go back on as having an ACL the pain lasts for 5 minutes then disappears, the doctors would have gone on his advice.

Wish him a speedy recovery

As Walsh said, The docs and Ball put all the info together and make a decision on whether to come back on or not.

The media will find a way to blame Buckley and say that he would have pushed the decision. Blokes like Robbo, Ralph and the other tools must also start threads on the Bay.

hehe some legal tosser wants his name in the paper, so rings up a journo mate saying 'luke is within his legal right blah blah'.

its collingwood and so makes news.

next.

Quill's firm actually handle legal advice for Herald Sun, so they would have asked him. In essence they have created a hypothetical story of their own making.

Yep they also check the stability in the knee and the player's ability to move sideways. All would have been checked off before he went back on.
