Lately I have been spending time on Bandcamp checking out local talent. this is def the way of the future and a way these band can get going I highly recomend shelling a few bucks

some people are silly

I put my old band's discography up maybe 6 months ago - We had 3 releases from 2003 - 2007. They are all now out of print so I thought it was a great way to have the old music still accessible...

Made it free, but it has a 'pay what you feel' option. Never inteded to get people to pay for these tracks but every now and then I get an extra $5 in my paypal account..

one guy paid 50cents each for the three records... I wonder if that person didn't realise he could've written '$0' ...


but otherwise, bandcamp is really good...

Fair few months on, but have to bump this. Some great albums on Bandcamp this year. It certainly is a good platform for musicians, and there's plenty of talent on there.

Yeah, I liked the concept of BC and use it plenty. In fact, most of the music I buy is probably through it. I do find the search function in it a bit rubbish, though.
