I've been doing some thinking. Since the Kangaroos banner was so bad in Round 2, myself and my family have been doing some thinking of some really funny slogans to have on banners. So, here's a few that we came up with!

Lions V Adelaide

On this cold night in May
You'll hear our Lions ROAR
Bloody hell Leigh Matthews
Bring back Daniel Bradshaw!

Lions V Carlton

On this night at the Gabba
We offer you a tip
We warn you now Carlton
Braddles will pop a hip.

Lions V Essendon

Sure they might be the premiers
But Essendon aren't all class
It's time to stand up Brisbane
And really Kick some Ass!

I like the old aussie saying, simple and to the bloody point, for this weekend:

"Stone the flamin' Crows"

maybe with a "Go Lions" or something at the beginning.

The banners at last week's game were fantastic. From both clubs. It was great to see them honour the Fitzroy legends. Great stuff from both the Brisbane Lions and Carlton (who really made the word 'Fitzroy' stand out on their banner!).
