I respectfully disagree. I believe it to be inherent.

I think sex has a biologcial basis, but gender is a product of various social processes. However, I respect your position on the subject. :thumbsu:

So she's trying to challenge the concept of gender by having a moustache? Ok then, I see your point, but if she is a feminist, she seems like a confused lady (if she is that......)

Why is she confused? Because she is growing a mo?

Yes that is a popular theory and one that does make sense, my thoughts on the subject were/are influenced by the Reimer case
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Reimer
and a few years of counselling work with identity confused youth.

There are strong arguments for both schools of thought, in fact I think it's near impossible to actually support one side with out at least respecting the other side. Complicated stuff.

The docos on the subject are interesting to say the least.

But hey lets save this for the society board.

Bitch has teh mostash!!!1 lolzz!

So now you are pathologising her decision to grow a mo?

You are equating gender with biological make up.

So what?

If we base gender on biology, she is more manly than your average woman due to her ability to grow such an impressive moustache. I'll bet she has high testosterone.

If we use our social construct, she's also less female. In our society, females don't grow mo's.

However you look at gender, that's one manly bitch.
