Bartram's effort on Harvey...

...shouldn't go unnoticed.

I see he isn't getting many votes, or even a say in most of the "best" lists, but he was outstanding. Harvey had 16 possessions and a goal which is well below his best (not forgetting the fact he took 6 Brownlow votes from the two times we saw him last year), whilst Bartram seems to also have regained a bit of composure that was severely lacking last year.

That's not the first good game Clint has had this year either and I'm certain it won't be the last, could be one to watch if he is getting back to that '06 form.

P.S. almost as a side note - Dunn needs to sort out his identity crisis, because I'm not sure how much of a go he will get as a tagger this year.

Could be a classic case of taking a year to get over missing a whole year. Has the speed, tenacity and tackling ability to be a very good tagger, and whilst his kicking will never be elite it looks a little better this year. Plus he enjoys a goal and can defend when a midfielder goes forward. Also with Cheney, Grimes, Bennell and Strauss appearing as the young defenders of the future putting Bartram in the midfield will free up room in the team.

Agree with you on Dunn, the only role for him that really makes sense in on Goodes. So he might have to be switched back to a key forward role. It is a horrible thing to do to a young player, especially one with some talent but I think it is the right thing to do. I know I still remember the goals he kicked as a young bloke in 06 I think it was.

His kicking is still horrible.

Like Buckley, I cringe whenever he gets the ball and when he looks to pass off by foot...

But he did a really good job on Harvey, and he has a fantastic work ethic and is disciplined.

If only he could improve his kicking and decision making when he's in possession, we'd have a gun player on our hands

Dunn will find it very hard if Bartram has another good game this week. Unless he can get a position up forward which wouldn't be to hard.
