Can point me to some quality NBA blogs and podcasts?

Right now all I have that I can consistently rely upon is The Basketball Jones (god bless the daily podcasts to keep me going at work as well), and Basketbawful.

As you can tell by my current readings being TBJ, Basketbawful and Grantland (not really a blog but yeah) and a splash of Deadspin I'm not after a blog that just regurgitates top stories, I want lulz delivered too.

I'm open to suggestions to good podcasts as well as currently all I'm aware of are TBJ and ESPN/Grantland.

Love TBJ podcasts, agree with BDL its horrible they had a big B!tch piece about mark cuban making a gay slur on THE BS report... wtf....

On Grantland i Love Jalen Rose, he just tells it as it is, and more or less makes complete sense.


The daily dime is also a pretty good read on espn, i dont really have any thing else though will follow this thread closely.

Yeah I'm interested in some good blogs to read. I read the celtics ones like redsarmy, celticsblog and celticslife but I'd also like to read some NBA ones.

As for the podcasts are they available on iTunes?

Those with an iPhone/Pod/Pad should grab the Podcaster app. You subscribe to the ones you want and auto-update for the newest episode. I only really listen to the BS Report, Grantland (Jalen Rose weekly one is good, the also include TBJ Overdose or whatever it's called) and PTI though.

ESPN TrueHoop network has a blog for each team and a few other general blogs, CelticsHub and Daily Thunder are pretty good but those are the only two I've really read.

And Grantland Podcasts (of which not all are NBA) are available here. http://www.grantland.com/podcasts Bill Simmons has had some really good guests recently during allstar weekend so heaps to listen to.

TBJ's Daily Fix and Friday Overdose are available on iTunes, video as well as audio only if you prefer.

It's far from pure basketball analysis (although they definitely know what they're talking about) but it's hilarious viewing and reading.

If you like puns and players with beards, then TBJ is the blog for you.

Grantland is meh...gotta sift through a lotta of garbage on that site to get to something halfway decent.

No lulz, but I like The Point Forward. Analytical (sometimes a bit too much), informative and like other blogs has a daily roundup of links to other articles worth reading.

David Aldridge's weekly thing on NBA.com is pretty good.
