My parents were married for 8 years before they had my brother, and 11 years before they had me. Tomorrow is actually their 31st anniversary (they will realise this at approximately 8pm and say 'oh yeah, happy anniversary' and have a little laugh).
Pretty uncommon but boring, I suppose. I prefer it that way though.

Parents were married for four or five years before they had me. My oldest sister's a bastard and my other sister was conceived a few months prior to the marriage.
So of all people, she picks her ex husband who stalked her? Makes sense.

i don't know what goes on w/ her. i do know she's pretty different for a 53 yr old, she encourages ****ty dressing and make-up, she encourages J.BEEBZ and Short Stack, she has decided she wants a purple streak in her hair...she's prey cool. i guess. only thing is computer. apparently her ex was a musician or sumthin and she wanted to know if he'd done anything lately, according to her, her ex brother in law was an epic guitarist..i dunno..

Parents were married for 9 years before I was born and have now been married for 54 years. They still go out for dinner every Saturday night together ! It's fabulous.
As for the next generation. 8 kids in the family. 6 got married and 5 got divorced, including me. 4 have remarried, including me and all much happier. The only one not get divorced out of the 6 is my oldest sister who was married for over 30 years before her husband (a truly great bloke RIP) died of cancer.

i think she told me, when she was my age she was shipped off to a boarding school, wasn't allowed to listen to her music, wasn't allowed to have her hair how she wanted and all that... apparently she had many fights with her parents and she'd rather encourage me with my interests than force things on me.

I guess I want to as I want kids early on in my life. I guess it's just a desire I have.
My rents were married for 16 years before they put me out. They were 21 when they were married.
Still together today, however the old man had a stroke when he was 48 so he has been in disabled care at home since then. So it's not like she will "break up with him". Could be married for a long time now...
