Running free they are watching as transfers updated again- apparently a few teams will will be lost from last year, both in seniors and juniors- whats doing black Diamond AFL ?

Will brayshaw cleared to Singleton. Makes sense being the 4th brayshaw brother that is in the army as opposed to the afl. Certainly a handy pick up for Singleton!

Predictions for BD Cup
B&F - C Haswell
Rising Star - Jason Roach
Leading Goal Kicker - P Gillingham
Premiers - Cardiff, just see them as being too strong. Despite the loss of Yensch, Price they have recruited well and will be hard to stop. Good, professional program over there only see them going forwards. Will be hungry after last year aswell.
Worsen - I think Terrigal Avoca won't make the grand final, will be top 4 but won't have as strong a season as expected.
Improvers - Killarney Vale, despite Cardiff best facilities in the league. Have recruited strongly and some classy players throughout the line up. Top 5.
Warners Bay despite being tipped to drop down the ladder, have got some decent recruits and returning players. Think they will be alright. Looking towards top 6.

Ghost town for 5 years now....and in that time we still don't see a shift in club standings or at least premierships. Same 2 get the cups with KV chipping in for one and the former heavy weight Cardiff nabbing one too from memory.
Seems small waves starting to show change with Warners Bay coming along.

That 3rd team scenario chops and changes and now we are back to status quo with 1st and 2nds comps.

Hoping to see bigger numbers at the Dockers and with that an increase to 2 teams. Get to a point where all clubs field 2 mens teams and line up the fixtures. Not sure if that's possible any time soon for Wyong...you have to go back 20 odd years to see them fielding a true 1st grade outfit and then a ressies side.

Otherwise, like the rest of the country has a healthy womens comp/s running for years now. Its good.

In 2025 though we are seeing a changing region with demographics and increasing development and that combined with clubs that built strong junior bases could see further changes yet. Doesn't appear any space for new clubs but it seems that Warners Bay at least may start knocking on the door louder.

For the past 20 years though, the top comp has generally been owned by 3 clubs with City and Terrigal now owning the top dawg status, eclipsing Cardiff. The next 5 years might just finally see some shifting sands.
