If I was the opposition I would be extremly scared of what level the mighty pies could get too.
Early in the first quarter of the Grandfinal Replay there was a piece of play that got me very excited about the future. Coming out of the back line was Sidebottom -> Blair -> The Caf -> Moneybags. All of which beat their man. all read the play well. Then watching what Sidebottom and Blair produced last night, got me really believing there is no way there will be a premiership hangover. Not with the quality and the rate of our player development. Looking forward to the development of Ugle, Fasolo, Young in particular, Thomas.
People have been talking about a sustained period of success for the Pies, somewhere between 3 more years. If Derek Hine is kept on board I don't see why that period of success couldn't extend to be 5-6 more years. Especially with the players previously mentioned coming through.
