I think I read somewhere that yesterday, Col Kinnear said on 3aw that Beasy will be our back up/pinch hitting ruckman.

Needs to get more game time and be played in the one position to make it his own. My preference is the HFF where he should develop into marking forward who will be hard to match up on as he would get the oppositions third ranked defender (at the worst).

Has the ability and just needs to find that self belief that makes seconds players become full time seniors, I think he has what it takes to be very solid player, time will tell if I'm right.

totally agree Sheik, could really add some grunt to a HFF now that Hickmott has gone - hopefully he actually gets played there regularly. Could be the 'enforcer' Carlton needs if he starts to use his size more

...

I'm not completely sold on Beasy. While he has the attributes to be a gun, he looks completely lost once he's out on the field. When the ball comes his way, he can take a mean grab though.

Keep in mind however, this is all coming from the guy who is relying on Livo to stabilise the backline :p

I'd like to see Beasy get more game time on the HFF. He can certainly take a grab.
I don't think he's really an option for ruck though. He does have an exceptional leap, but really needs a little extra height to hold his own in the ruck.
